Mix it up - Patterns in the Office

I'm a huge fan of mixing patterns in an office space. Unlike a bedroom or living room, an office isn't exactly the place for R&R. Offices need a little more pizazz!
I love a mix of chevron and floral patterns.

Of course, you can never go wrong with a leopard print rug in close proximity - and that might be more practical than upholstering a chair in a busy pattern.


Although, this Ikat chair and industrial desk combo is divine!

Bright Blue and Lime Playroom

I recently entered a "Pin it to Win it" contest for Rosenberry Rooms and came up with a poppy pin board for an electric blue and lime green playroom. Although this room is a little load for my home (as you may remember I bought a gray West Elm Bliss Chair for ours). But - this room would be so fun in a home with light walls and a lot of mid-century furnishings.

Loving Calista

I was just flipping through my new Crate and Barrel catalog when suddenly I stumbled upon the Calista dining collection and I almost fainted. Seriously Crate and Barrel is so on top of their game right now. This new collection is so graceful and the Danish modern lines make it absolute perfection. I've been hoping, begging, praying for one of my favorite shops to create a collection like this. Love it... Now if only I could afford it!

Plans for Brendan's 1st Birthday - Nautical Inspired

I can't even believe it's time to think about Brendan's first birthday. When people tell you the first year flies by, you think it won't happen to you! I blinked and now by child is almost one year old - it's insane. I could not decide on a theme (newsies, whales, bees - I thought of it all and nothing seemed right). Finally, I saw a really tastefully done nautical birthday on 6th Street, and thought - YES! That's it - nautical. Now it's time to plan and I found some inspiring images to help guide my party planning purchases.
