The biggest mistake a bride can make in deciding on a dress (other than picking one that is not flattering to your body type)...is picking a dress that is inappropriate for your venue. A ball gown has no place at a vineyard...
This is the perfect garden variety gown and it screams outdoors with its pretty silhouette and layers.

Parisian Princess
I could never live without Etsy. I get giddy every time I find a new seller and this one is no exception. Parisian Princess by Clairefaye..if I had $765.00 to spare - this dress would be mine...

Megan's Big Day on a Small Budget
This is a sampling from my sister's wedding in August of 2008. I might be a little biased...but this is EVERYTHING a wedding should be and more. This wedding was planned without a huge fuss, bride and groom totally and utterly in love, ridiculously supportive family and totally budget friendly. She looks beautiful, he looks handsome, everyone cried, everyone danced and everyone was merry. Perfection in my book and I can't believe it took me this long to share. I'd tell you the budget but then you'd think I was lying so I'll leave that alone. Let's just say no one went broke here.

Okay better late than never. I love the idea of a rustic Valentine's wedding. This board...wildflower charm, asymmetrical hearts, yarn details...it's adorable.

Delicious Neutrals
Proof is here! A neutral wedding palette doesn't have to be blah. Add some richness with black accents and varying shades of taupe, brown and ivory for a completely stand-out/chic look.

Seafoam
My mom just sent me the cutest seafoam green clutch from a vintage clothing store in Oahu. It got me thinking, I've been so into aqua lately that I basically forgot about it's softer understated cousin, seafoam green. Seafoam is so pretty anytime of year, but especially for spring wedding I think. It has so much innocence and personality....I just love it with ivory as shown in this board I created.

Silver and Gold
Let's face it - all winter brides hope for a white wedding. This board is winter gorgeousness. I love a palette with soft silvers, golds and whites for a snowy affair.

A Whole Lot of Red
I love red. In my own wedding I used it sparingly, as an accent color really. But this time of year, why not use red all over...especially for a Valentine's Day Wedding.

Green and White
When spring hits - there is always the initial peek through of fresh green on all the trees that I love so much! Why not embrace simple green with white for a squeaky clean spring wedding look.
